well my first thought about this before seeing the post made was
about the shinigami bleaching/purifing the hollow's i also think that would make the most sence

It's called Bleach because Gin is obsessed with Laundry Detergent. Seriously, there is something wrong with that guy's face! He's so happy all teh time beacause of his Lavender scented robes!

What are you talking about? He's happy because he's saved money on car insurance by switching to Geico!

The reason could be because, like somebody already said, Ichigo's hair looks like he bleaches it (even though he's said that it's his natural hair color), or it could be because of how they 'bleach' the sins from the souls of Hollows, although somebody already said that too, I think...

i think the reason its called bleach is because of ichigo's inner hollow which is all white and has a white blade and such.

because hes like the purely bleached version of ichigo and where all ichigo's power comes from....if i remember correctly he is his sword and his mask powers too
