so rumors are flying around for the villians...most recently that paul giamatti playing the pengiun and johnny depp playing the riddler...but my personal thoughts are they should just do the riddler...bc it ll be too much if they try two villians bc you know they re going to try to do better than heath and fail...but my thoughts are that they use the riddler and heres the big part...use JIM CARREY!! yes i said it...bring back the original and use that! think about it...just darken him a bit like they did between jacks joker and heaths...update the costume...no tights please lol and you ll have a epic movie equal of the dark knight

If they do use the riddler again, I will not even bother watching it. The character of the riddler is crap and they barely pulled it off last time, using the riddler again is just pushing it too far. Penguin could be a good one, but it could also go horribley wrong depending on who writes the script. I want to see a Killer Croc or a Manbat already, get some new faces in the movies.

yea i heard that johnny depp was going to be the riddler...but then again paul giamatti said he was interested in playing the penguin...even tho idk bc i got to watch the dark knight with chris nolan via blu ray and he said that the pengiun was a no go bc he didnt see him as a true villain...but i also heard it was going to be just bane...saying that film 1 was fear...film 2 was the mental battle and film three would be the physical battle

Physical battle would hint towards characters like Killer Croc and Manbat, but it doesn't necessarily mean them at all. There is also Bane (as you said), Clayface, and possibly Solomon Grundy. Those are the only Strength-related villains that come to my mind at the moment.

but then again...the justice league movie ll probably be out by then...i think its aimed at a fall 2011 deadline,and if that happens...we may even see a crossover...which would broaden the options but not for the better probably...lex luthor against batman,oh god disaster lol but anyway...i m betting on a smaller villian and more focus on batman...his redemption ya know

I wouldn't expect a cross-over, It would be a hellish failure.
Taking into consideration the end of the last movie and what you said about physical strength, I would say Man-Bat is best choice for the next villain. When Man-Bat was originally introduced, Many people of Gotham thought that the havoc created by Man-Bat, plus the similar shape of the Man-Bat's shadow, were the work of a Batman gone bad.

hmm ive never looked up the man bat but wasnt he a scientist injecting bat dna to his blood? i saw a cartoon of him where the penguin controlled him...but yea that would be the best one for physical,as batman was already considered a criminal at the end of the dark knight...hmm so you think they ll do dual criminals again?

I don't think they will do duel villains again, if they were, they most likely would have left an obvious hint at the end of the movie for one of the the villains and would use the other as a surprise to be reveled later, like Joker & Two-Face. Besides, there is no reasoning as of now to think they would try another duel villain.

i hope not...because...if its two then both villains,whether told by the corp. not to or not...will try to outdo heaths joker to achieve that fame and not to fall into his shadow but if they get someone legendary,like jim to do the riddler,who has already reached that one time and doesnt have that pressure,even if there are two villains with one being legendary,the movie wont flop,bc the legendary will cover over the smaller,like heath did with harvey dent,i was never a big fan of two face,i perfered tommy lee jones,he brought more duality to it...but anyway hardly anyone i know mentions harvey dent in the dark knight,sure he came in at the half way point but still,the joker just stole the show

Being honest, I think someone like Johnny Deep would be a better riddler then Jim at this point. Jim seems to be doing more serious type movies lately and Johnny did a pretty good job with Capt. Jack and the characters have very similar personalities. As for Harvey Dent, you won't see the average movie watcher talking about his role in the play, but people who enjoy films more and like to pick them apart will give Harvey Dent/Two Face's character a lot more significance that it deserves (Sure its not at the Joker's level, but it is the top 3).
