hell yeah! time to see konoha's yellow flash in action!

can't wait for this but how would it turn out? i mean would it be an hour-long special, or...

also, how would they incorporate the gaiden into the story? the crappy fillers are almost over and the next arc is focused on sasuke, so would it somehow be in between the two arcs?

well they'll do it in the summer and it'll be part of the main story line according to the spoiler.

Why couldn't they just animate Kakashi gaiden instead of the unnecessary anime fillers we are having now?

Hey Guys don't get too exited about this i mean when they said they were making a filler about a Bijuu i was like hell yeah this is gonna be awesome but after seeing it this is one of the worst fillers ever i hope they never make a filler again about a Bijuu so if its something like that then its gonna suck ,,,, I hope they do it exactly how its in the manga if its llike that then it will be good at leasat i hope

Kakashi Gaiden Anime announced

The story of the Kakashi Gaiden is finally going to be animated into a 1-hour Naruto Shippuden anime special on July 30th. The arc is covered in Volume 28 of the manga, but it was never animated until now. An article in Shonen Jump confirmed it. The title for the 1-hour special is Kakashi's Gaiden - The Battlefield of a Boys Life.

i just found that it's really close to airing
