Rinnegan/Sharingan Theory

Okay, as you may know, Rinnegan means "Samsara Eye", and Samsara is the cycle of reincarnation or rebirth. Which would mean the Rinnegan gives Pein the ability to rebirth himself into different bodies. But, where would he get said bodies? This brings us to...

This image shows Pein and his several bodies. Notice the one on the far-left's body shape and hair. Remind you of anyone you know that's dead? Hopefully, Deidara. Now, this goes to the Tengu theory, so, if you haven't read it, you may be missing some parts. Accoridng to the Tengu theory, the Uchiha Clan became when a Tengu and a Hyuuga had a child. (Uchiha Madara) Madara is, according to Itachi, still alive. And Tobi refers to himself as Uchiha Madara constantly, with Pein agreeing. Now, Tobi refering to himself as Madara may be unbelievable, with his goofy personality, but Pein never jokes or smiles and agrees the statement. So, the Rinnegan must ave somehow either developed or developed from one of the two other Doujutsu Kekke Genkai, Sharingan and Byakugan. Which would explain some of Pein's abilities that Sasuke also possesses, such as teleportation, telepathy, etc. So, the Rinnegan and Sharingan obviously have some relation. And since the Rinnegan's ability allows rebirth, and Itachi said Madara was still alive... I think you got it. Pein is possesing someones body, but deformed to his will to look like Deidara. I expect the same from Madara, but deforming Obito's body into "Tobi". Pein would agree that "Tobi" is Madara, because he can sense it with his Rinnegan. I theorize the Rinnegan just not just perform actions, but allows you to be aware of them, as well. Which brings us to... how does Itachi know Madara is still alive? This is not true, Madara is not physically "alive", but more mentally. Pein could have told Itachi this, because this would please Itachi because it would be more direct and cause less questions. This will also cause Sasuke to discover more secrets of the Uchiha without Pein or Itachi having to lift a finger.

Well, that's my theory so far. I plan to up-date this as frequently as I can. Any comments would be appreciated :D

Oh, whoops. Typed that up wrong. I'll edit it now.

Build 1.1: The body is not Deidara's. It's deformed to Pein's will to resemble Deidara.

Build 2.0: Since the Sharingan has more than one form, it may be possible that the Rinnegan has more than one for as well, same goes for Byakugan, possibly another form of Byakugan gave birht to the Uchiha. Back to Rinnegan. Point your attention to

You see Pein as a child. While comparing the two, you should count the rings on the most visible eye.

Pein: 3

Kid Pein: 3

So, it appears Pein's Rinnegan has not transformed... yet. If the Rinnegan can become more powerful, and Pein obtains that... it will make a sick fight XD. But, if Pein's Rinnegan is in it's first stage, and he was able to kill Jiraiya, we're in trouble if he finds a way to power it up.

i think this should be in the manga section because it reveals a bit from the manga...

that guy is not deidara in any shape or form, if you look back, it shows you exactly who every one of the pein clones were, and the guy your saying looks like deidara, looked exactly like a guy from jiraiya's past with some facial piercings, so all in all, that is not deidara.

also we arnt even sure who the real pain is, thats just the body he uses to represents himself, Jiriaya makes it sound as the real pain is none of those clones.

but there is no reason to think there isnt any upgrades to byakugan and rinnegan, i mena we have had i think four upgrades for sharingan. but i think its a bit early to be thinking about this, because we really, have no clue what exactly rinnegan actually does.

yeah all the rinnegan has done that we have seen is make a **** load of summonings and also share the vision of the other bodies

No, up at the top, I put "Manga Spoilers". And the clubhouse is "Talk about anything that's Naruto but isn't really anime or manga related (Theories, battles that won't happen, best character, etc.)" So, this belongs here since it is a theory.

Well, "Pein" could be the real "Pein". Because the child in Jiraiya's past was named Yahiko. And, I think what Jiraiya meant by that was more like "You used to be such a wonderful child! What happened to you?" and not "Stop impersonating people I knew!"

That's really the main part of the theory. The part about Deidara was really just to tie the whole "Tobi" thing. It has barely any part in this theory, just a small connection between the Rinnegan and Sharingan and Byakugan or any other Doujutsu that wasn't named or whatever. And we do have some idea of what the Rinnegan does.

There. That's the ability of the Rinnegan so far. And, you can never be to early to predict for Naruto. Because Kishimoto puts so much fore-shadowing in Naruto. And it's very un-predictable. For all we know, Pein might have 4 rings in Chapter 386.

well we know the sharingan branched off of the byakugan
so from this point 2 things may have happened
1. the Rinnegan users where the people who discovered ninjustsu/genjutsu. and one of their abilities is being able to see out of other bodies. so vision. it is possible that the byakugan formed from the Rinnegan because it shared the common factor of sight.

2. the Rinnegan and byakugan are not related. just because the Rinnegan users discovered ninjutsu and genjutsu doesn't mean all kekegenkai came from it.

I'm pretty sure it was the first hokage that discovered ninjutsu. Is there any where in the manga it says that the Rinnegan users did? Or is that just your guess?

only the sage of six paths is known to have the rinnegan..(and pain) and is said to be the founder of ninjutsu(jyraiya said that).. the first is the founder of konoha, not ninjutsu
